I first became involved in music during my time in the sixth form at Driffield School. It was here that I started performing publicly when I joined a band in 1999 as lead singer. The band 'Thief' was formed by several fellow pupils at the school. We started out playing cover versions of our favourite songs and also taking the first tentative steps toward composing our own material. Over the years we traveled all over the country playing gigs and trying to achieve our dream of getting a record deal. We recorded several demo discs of their own material. I left the group in 2006 and wasn't really sure what to do next.

After much thought I decided that it was time to go it alone and here I am. My first gig was at the fabulous Belmont Club in Hull and I've been performing regularly ever since. I've already performed at various private functions including birthdays, weddings, charity gigs, sports club dinners and wedding anniversary celebrations. I really enjoy being invited to perform at these special occasions and always add a personal touch to such nights.

If you're after entertainment for the entire evening, I also provide a DJ service. This makes it easier for the planning of your evening as you would have everything rolled into one if you hired me. I play a wide range of music and (as with my singing) I cater the setlist to the needs of the audience. There's nothing worse than hiring a DJ for a 21st birthday and hearing nothing but The Shadows. Likewise if you get a DJ for a 60th birthday, it can put a huge dampener on proceedings if you hear nothing but techno acid house music (which before you ask is not a personal favourite).
